ghastly accident in Akwa Ibom.
Police officers who were allegedly driking while driving, caused a
ghastly accident along the Edet Akpan avenue in Uyo, Akwa
Ibom state today November 26th. Facebook user, Michael
Sunday Esu who shared the story online, said many persons
were injured in the accident.

It's indeed a bloody Sunday as men of the Nigerian Police Force
who were drinking and driving ran into a mini bus belonging to
STANFORD MICROFINANCE BANK carrying passengers heading
down oron road.
The accident occurred at Oron road by Edet Akpan Avenue
(4lane).The drunk police men were driving out of ewet housing
estate and since they are above the law,they couldn't wait for the
traffic and their stupi...d act of breaking the traffic laws got
10passengers in the mini bus
? injured.As at the time of this report,it took the intervention of
the speaker of the AKWA IBOM STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
Rt.Hon.Barr.Onofiok Luke who was returning from church
service at the FULL LIFE CHRISTIAN CENTER to order for the
immediate treatment of the injured passengers at PREMIER
MEDICAL CENTER,Edet Akpan Avenue,uyo.
